If you have suggestions for improvements to Moneydance, please feel free to post them in our forum.

If you are reporting a bug, please first search the forum. If the issue is logged there then it is a known issue, so we ask that you add your comments to that thread to vote for the issue. If not, please start a new thread, as you may be experiencing a new bug or an unusual issue.

For all other inquiries

  • Search through our User Guide, which contains detailed instructions on how to use Moneydance. You can download the PDF from our website at http://moneydance.com/userguide.
  • Search the forums. Many of the issues our users experience have been addressed in other forum posts. If you are experiencing the same issue as another user, please feel free to add any additional information to that thread.
  • Use information dense subject lines. “License Key does not work” or “Program crashes when auto saving” is clearer and more useful for us than “Help,” or “Moneydance is not working”.
  • Include the full name of your bank as well as the city and state where your branch is located when requesting a financial institution connection or notifying us of an issue with a connection.
  • Please include your OS, the version of Moneydance you are using, and your version of Java when making a support request.
