The trial version is identical to the licensed version, except you are limited to 100 manually-entered transactions.

Downloaded and imported transactions are unlimited, so you can fully test importing data from other programs, and downloading transactions from your bank.

If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all of your data - the license key you purchase simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.
