To set up automatic downloads for Chase you can follow the steps below.

  • Open a web browser and log in to the Chase website.
  • Select "Security & Privacy".
  • At the bottom, under “Resources”, select "Desktop software".
  • Click on "Learn More", then click “next” at the bottom to enable "Desktop software".

You should then be able to connect to Chase from within Moneydance.

If you still encounter problems, you may need to perform one more verification step.

  • Open a web browser and log in to the Chase website.
  • Go to your Secure Message Inbox.

If needed, you can access the Secure Message Inbox using the link below
     -
    https://www.chase.com/digital/login-secure-message
  • You will see a message asking you to approve the connection from Moneydance.
  • Click the link to confirm the connection.

If you have any trouble completing this final step, try using another web browser. Some Chase customers have reported that the secure message verification process doesn't work as expected when using Safari.

On the Chase website and mobile app, you can view the accounts you’ve given apps or companies permission to access. You can also remove their access at any time.

To view or remove your linked apps and websites, access the Chase Security Center.

To do this, sign in to your account on the Chase Mobile® app. Go to Profile & Settings, then choose Settings to view the Security Center.

Alternatively, on chase.com, sign in and go to "Security & privacy" to view the Security Center.

These steps are also outlined on the Chase website, here.
