How do I install and setup the iPhone or iPad app?
Prerequisites: You need to have the desktop version of Moneydance installed and have an existing data file that you have saved at least once.
1) On your iPhone or iPad go to the app store and search for "moneydance" without the quotes. install it. (It is free).
2) Install the "Network Synchronizer" extension into the Moneydance desktop application.
2a) Run Moneydance and select Extensions->Add.
2b) Select "From the internet" and click Next.

2c) Select "Network Synchronizer" and Click Next. Click
Finish.

3) Make sure your iPhone or iPad is connected to the wifi network and that network is the same network your desktop is connected to.
4) Run the Moneydance iPhone or iPad app. You will see a welcome screen that displays a 48 character access key.
5) Return to the desktop Moneydance app and select
Extensions->"Configure Network Syncing...".

6) Click the "Add device"

7) If you get the error message "No devices running Moneydance were found" please read the following trouble shooting article:

8) Enter the access key into the "Access Key" box and click OK. The access key only contains the numbers 0-9 and the letters A-F. Do not enter any spaces.
