SunTrust Error 400
Trying to switch over from Quicken PC to Moneydance Mac. I have read all your forums and have disabled encryption and also tried the python interface. Suntrust is not willing to help to help me with any Moneydance issues (but they are willing to assist me if I was updating to Quicken mac).
There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.
Error Description: java.io.IOException: HTTP Error:400 Bad Request.

I think that this is a moneydance issue because when I try to sign on with an incorrect password, I get a different error message:
The given customer ID or PIN is not valid. For more information, contact your financial institution.
Additional information from the server:
Signon (for example, user ID or password) invalid
MONEYDANCE 2010R3 (751)
How long does it take custmer service to reply? I am potentially a new customer trying out a trial version, and been waiting on a response for over 24 hours. Not likely to win my business with what I have experienced so far.

Hi bernie,
It's been my experience that the Moneydance Support Staff will respond within a day or so and sometimes within hours.
To assist them in helping you, provide the Mac OS version you're using and the version of Java you're running. You can obtain this information from the Console Window under the Help menu. It should be within the first few lines of text.
HTH -Kevin N.

Do you have Direct Connect enabled at SunTrust?
Often times, Microsoft Money and Quicken will connect using what is called Web Connect.
Call SunTrust and tell them that you are using Quicken and that you need Direct Connect enabled.
There is usually a monthly fee from SunTrust for the use of their Direct Connect feature.
