Nothing downloading
Seems this should be pretty straight forward. I put the info in there to download the account, it asks for my password, goes to work for a second, and then nothing downloads. I decided against importing past data from MS Money and just starting fresh with MD, but I'm not getting anything coming in.

Hi isell,
So as to assist the Moneydance staff in helping you, provide the version of Moneydance you're using, the operating system and the version of Java you're using.
To retreive this information, open the Console window from the Help menu. It should all be in the first few lines of text.
Also provide the name of the financial institution that you're trying to access.

Hi isell,
Is this account a Chase Credit Card account?
If so, you need to log onto the Chase website and activate your account for direct connect.
Log onto the Chase website. Click the Customer Center tab. About 3/4 of the way down the page in the Reference Center section, click the link to Activate Money, Quicken etc.
I'm not sure if this also pertains to regular banking accounts @ Chase.

I've been downloading transactions for all my chase accounts for years into Money.
I'm all set up for direct downloads.

Hi Terry,
Are you sure you're using Direct Connect and not Web Connect? If you never activated your account for direct connect before (by using the instructions Kevin posted), then it's very likely that you're actually using Web connect.
