I need a program to replace MS Money which has served me well for years and Moneydance is attractive because it will allow transfer of data, apparently with ease. My most used feature of MS Money is the graphical display of cash flow which prompts me to take action against future problems before they appear. Is this forecast available in Moneydance? Also, will it factor into the display all scheduled debits and credits at the appropriate point on the chart (I assume that scheduled transactions can be entered automatically, once future dates have been entered) ? Thank you.
Regards, Geoff Warren.

Moneydance does not have an exactly equivalent feature however there are a couple of free extensions that come close. Perhaps the better of the 2 is called "Moneydance Forecaster" it can be downloaded from here:

Thank you for the information, I'm about to
follow through. The display on the link page shows exactly what
I need, the only difference with the MS Money display is that MS
display is a histogram. I reckon I can cope with the change!
GEOFF WARREN,

I switched from money to moneydance in Jan of this year. I used the graphical display of my balance in money. I found an extension that I do like pretty well for moneydance. It provides a graph as well as lists the transactions to the side so i can see in a little more detail what my balance will be with a certain transaction. It uses the historical data as well as the reminders that you have set up.

You can fin that one here.

I think this one should be an offically supported moneydance extension. It find it very valuable in seeing the future balance of my accouts. I used it the most on an account that I have set up just for my expenses.

I have managee to down load Balance Predictor and it seems to do all I need. The link between my various accounts isn't yet completely installed but I expect no problems with that bit of work. Thank you to all who responded.
