I purchased the license for your product based on several good reviews. I did not try the trial first which now I wish I had done. My reason for wanting a refund on my purchase is that your product does not automatically import my MS Money files. Yes, I did read your online help, but my reason for buying your product was that my Money product had become locked up and I could not access it. I had my Money files saved as well as backups of course. I thought that I could just install your product, start it, then click a convert button to import all my Money files automatically.

I was disappointed to discover that the software only imported Quicken file formats.
Being unable to open my Money software I could not as your online site suggested then export the files to a Quicken format.

To be able to use your product I do not want to have to re-enter each of my numerous stock and bank accounts manually, which I do not want to do.

Would you please refund the entire cost of your software since it did not meets my needs or expectations.
Thank you,
Karen Klein

I am sure that the staff will address the refund question, but as a former Money user (10 years) I can comment that Moneydance is the best software I could find to replace Money. I don't think you will find any competitors software that will directly convert a MSMoney file. All of them use something like QIF for importing.

If you can't reinstall Money (at least temporarily) to be able to export qif files, you wlll likely be stuck, no matter what other software you choose.

Sorry, I wish I had better news.............

    Hi Karen,
As Randy stated MD will address your refund.
If however you would like to try to extract your existing data from MS Money, you can download a free version of MS Money Plus Deluxe directly from Microsoft here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&...
Online updates are disabled in this version but if you can open your data file with it, you should then be able to begin the export process.

    Randy,

Thank you for the speedy reply. I did try your suggestion, but then found that I had to convert each of the many many accounts my husband and I have into the compatiable format. I could not just convert my just 1 money file easily into the Qif format

I have uninstalled MoneyDance from my computer. Would you then please refund the purchase price and credit my American Express account with which I purchased the software?

    Thank you,
    Karen Klein
