In Money, I could "Cash Flow" forcast what my money flow would be based on all my future income and expenses entered in the "Bills Summary" section.
I am trying to figure the same on Moneydance, but am not discovering it. Appreciate guidance.

    Hi Joseph

There are a couple of free extensions available for Moneydance that provide such a feature. The first is called "Balance predictor" and you can install it directly into the software with the following instructions:

    Select Extensions->Add

    Click Next.

    Select "Balance Predictor"

    Click Next

    Click Finish

This will add a new menu item to your extensions menu called "Balance Predictor" Select it to run the extension.

Additionally there is a 3rd party free extension called "Forecaster". You have to download a file to install this extension. You can get it and the installation instructions form the link below.

    Ben:
Thanks for that response. It seems that the Balance Predictor works
    for only 1 a/c at a time? I have two a/c's - a Checking and a
Business a/c, and my expenses and incomes fall into either of those
two categories. So, when I am looking for a forecast combining both a/
c's - I don't seem to be able to merge the two in the forecast.
    Thanks for your help.

As a former MS Money user, my recommendation is to get the forecaster extension, using the link Ben provided. It is as good as (if not better) than the one in MS Money.

The balance predictor extension is a little limited.

I have tried to use that by after downloading that the way I was
asked, when I try to retrieve it from the "Extensions" / Add / From
File - an error message comes up -
    java.lang.illegalArgumentException:null owner window

and doesn't allow me to do anything else.

Joseph, I don't have a solution for that, but here is a thread you can follow to gain more insight:
