Is there a hotkey to mark a transaction as cleared?
I've noticed that a Ctrl+Enter confirms transactions, after I download them from my Banking institution. Now, I'd like to know if theres a hotkey to quickly move through the list of Uncleared transactions to mark them as cleared..?

Hi rbuck, Highlight the first txn. then hold down 'Shift' and highlight the last txn. Right click any of the highlighted txns. and choose Mark As Cleared. Try doing THAT in MS Money! HTH -Kevin N.

No, although Ctrl-B can result in transactions being marked as cleared.
If there is a hotkey for an action it will be shown in the menu for that action (e.g. in the Online menu you will see Ctrl-Enter to the left of Confirm Selected New Transactions).
Right click a transaction in a register and a menu will be displayed and you will notice that there is nothing to the left of Mark As Cleared. This means there is no hotkey for that action.
Follow the advice already posted if you want to quickly mark a number of transactions as cleared.

Anthony is correct that there is not currently a hotkey to mark transactions as cleared, but it is possible we could include this feature in future builds. Our feature request and bug reporting system is integrated with our wiki. We invite our users to register and use these systems to help improve Moneydance by bringing bugs to our attention and requesting new features. Users can also vote on tickets, which helps us determine how wide-spread bugs are and which requests have the most demand. A ticket requesting more shortcuts/hot keys can be found here

I find it funny that the Trac ticket (1168) that Angie linked to had a number of entries in it's 'Change History' and yet, as of 2/10/10 had no votes for it, not even from the OP of the ticket. I see this a lot.
I created a Trac ticket that requests an enhancement to automatically mark downloaded and accepted txns. as cleared. Users can vote it up if they're interested at:

So far it's gotten 5 votes.
