It appears that 2 savings accounts i have were categorized by Moneydance as Investment accounts upon my switching from Quicken. This seems to be not allowing me to link up these savings accounts to online download. Can I change the account categorization?

    Hi,
It appears your message to us slipped through the cracks, sorry we did not get back to you sooner.
Is the issue you were having still persisting?

Sorry again for the late reply.

Yes it is. The only solution seems to be to open up a new bank account and link that to my savings and zero out or delete the one that converted funny. It appears you cannot connect investment accounts to a bank online to do auto updates.

    Hi,
It is true that investment accounts can only download if you are downloading the investment type account, not other accounts. Do you still have your quicken data? If its possible I would export the problem accounts individually into separate QIF's and then import them into the new savings accounts.
    Sincerely,
