tag menu behavior
Hello, I’m running MD 2011r2 (803) on Mac OS X Lion. Why does the tag menu behave differently than the other drop down menus? Particularly the Category menu. In the Cat menu, you can type and the category (major) will autocomplete. This is expected behavior.
But the tag menu is some sort of different animal. You have to hit the space bar to select on of the tags. Typing in that field isn’t allow, which is counterintuitive.
Just curious why this Java field type is so different.
(EDIT: dang, I screwed up the drop down (ironic?!) on this forum post. admins, feel free to move it to a more appropriate area)

The tag menu is different because it allows you to select multiple tags for the same transaction.
It is not clear what it would mean to enter text directly into the field. What if you already had 1 tag selected for that transaction.
