Confirming

I had hoped my problem was solved with the current daily build, Version 2011 r2 (799), but no luck.l I have one--and one only--check that keeps getting marked as unconfirmed every time I download. I have tried deleting the original, merging, deleting the downloaded, etc., etc. At this point I don't seem to be re-downloading the transaction, so I only have one copy and my balance is correct. However, it is marked as unconfirmed, even after confirming, saving, and closing; when I reopen, I get a message that one transaction was downloaded for that and account, and there it is, unconfirmed again. Nothing I do seems to help. Again, I have only had this happen with one check and at least it no longer duplicates, but it is annoying. (I am using a Mac, OX 10.6.8.)

Thanks for all of the work you all do on the program. It keeps getting better, although new problems do appear.

Before you confirm the newly downloaded duplicated check transaction please right click on the transaction and select "Show transaction details". Copy and paste the details to this discussion.

Then do the same for the transaction that was already in the register that is a duplicate of the newly downloaded one.

First, thanks for the quick response. However, in the meantime I had deleted the transaction and re-entered it. It was then not downloaded nor marked as unconfirmed. I was able to confirm it and get it all straightened out. Looking at the transaction details as you asked made it clear that somehow that transaction got corrupted: the details list was much longer than it now is. I think it was something weird and idiosyncratic so I can just accept that for now. If it happens again I will know what details you will need to trace the problem.
