New Transactions
Have used MS Money and Quicken for Windows, and now moved to Mac, I am trying out finance packages. Chose Moneydance, because like the idea of iPad and iPhone synching of account changes on the move. Expected to see a "New Transaction" floating window rather like the mobile app. but it just seems to be the very bottom line of the account register. This is workable, but would be more elegant to have something central screen. Could this be considered in the future? Or is it a feature now and i have not found it?

I have filed a suggestion ticket and attached it to this discussion such that your post counts as a vote for the ticket.
However I think it is quite unlikely that the transaction entry panel will be changed to be a floating window unless this suggestion gets a great deal of support.
