Transitioning from free trial to purchased software

I just downloaded and installed the trial version. What I would like to know is, if I decide to purchase the software, will I be able to buy it and then it will simply turn my trial version into a purchased version? In other words, I don't want to spend a ton of time importing all my Quicken data into the trial version of MD and then have to start all over when/if I purchase the software. I hope that question makes sense. Thanks for any help.
