I was a quicken user. Quicken's new version will not run on my older computer. The thing I liked about quicken is that I had years of data to do comparison of expenses. Is there a limit on the number of transactions I can keep in Moneydance?

No limitations as far as I know. I have transactions on multiple mortgages, credit cards, investments and bank accounts that go back over 10 years.

There is a 100 transaction limit on the free, trial-version of Moneydance. If I may make a suggestion, try the free, trial-version to see if it suits your needs.
