Hi
Your notice on the update says that the update makes the following changes (or words to that effect) but then shows us nothing......nada.....blank!

Just a suggestion but it would be interesting to see what I've just allowed to be changed.

Cheers

Thanks. Whilst in touch with you, can you take a look at the enclosed screen print: I seem to have a huge number of versions of Moneydance. I can’t think why but don’t want to delete anything in case I lose all the data. Finally, can you remind me where the backups - should I need them - are stored.

    Sorry to be a nuisance.

    Cheers

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for contacting us.
If you were prompted by the Moneydance updater extension to update, then the notification window shows the changes before you update.

You can view the full update notes here.

Your data is stored separately from the software, so only removing the program won't effect your files in any way. Keeping the latest file would be the best option.

If you didn't change the location of your backup files in Preferences within Moneydance then the quickest way to finding the backups is to open Moneydance and navigate to Help > Show Archive Folder.

Gosh - that’s a lot of bits and pieces (most of which I must confess I on’t understand!). As to the question of what triggered the update - I do have the updater extension so had assumed that the announcement that there was now an update originated from that, but - although it stated that the update covered the following changes (or words to that effect), nothing was shown.

    Cheers
