I found a discussion thread on this topic that was closed in 2015. Has anything more been done to make this work?
I too manage accounts for an aging parent using a second Moneydance file, and would love to be able to monitor and make entries on my iPhone or iPad.

    I'm a fellow user.

While you can have multiple files syncing on desktop machines as far as I am aware the mobile app only supports one Moneydance data set at this time.

I am not support staff, just a user.

I have only tried this with 2017.
You can set up multiply synced data sets on your computers. To switch syncing on your mobile device you have to use the mobile devices menu to disconnect and then connect to one of the listed synced data sets in the normal way.

    Hope this help

Thank you for that switch synch info. That at least makes it doable, even if not very convenient.

Would like to see making this easier on the developers improvement list.

    Thanks

    Hi,
there's an existing ticket in our ticketing system with the suggestion to Permit iOS and Android app to sync to multple data files, so I've attached it to this discussion, this suggestion has been open for a while and I unfortunately have no input on the progress of it. Attaching the suggestion to multiple discussions will however increase the need for it to be considered on the developers review of suggestions.
