Register navigation
I and others user have experienced a nuisance factor when navigating registers. If you start a new transaction with Ctlr-N (Command-N), then abandon that transaction using ESCAPE, you are left in a 'nether-world' where you cannot regain control of the register without resorting to the mouse to click in an existing transaction. If a existing transaction is highlighed (has the focus), then you click Ctrl-N, then abandon, It would be very useful if the focus remained in the register, on the transaction you were on before hitting Ctrl-N.
Along these lines, when the sidebar is open, and has the focus, you can use the UP/DOWN keys to move up and down the account list. Each time you move to a new account, it's register appears in the main window. However, you cannot move from the sidebar to the register using the keyboard (or at least I can't find a way to do it). I don't like to keep my hand on the mouse, I am a two-handed keyboard user, but when I am moving from account to account in the sidebar, the mouse is required to move to the register.
Please add some keyboard shortcuts to move back and forth between sidebar and register, for instance, Alt-R, Shitf-Alt-R
Also, when the focus is in the register, keep the focus there without having to 'refocus' with a mouse click after abandoning a new transaction.
Thanks for a great program.
Chris

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your detailed suggestions. I've added your comment to our bug ticket for general improvements to keyboard navigation in Moneydance. It will definitely help as we look to streamline keyboard usage in the program.
