Investment Transactions report - search by Security
I can't find an option to do this, but it would be really helpful for me. The Investment Transactions report lists the Security as a displayed column. I would like to be able to search based on this field. I find myself needing to pull up all transactions for a single security to see it's entire history and it seems like the only way to currently do that is to search by description and hope that the security symbol appears in every relevant transaction.

In the transactions report you can edit it for a single security in an account.

I have the same problem and I can't find a way to do what you suggest. I can edit the account but NOT the individual security. If I use "description" for the security, it doesn't find them all.

Tom,
I am looking at the Edit screen for this report. There is an option for Account/Category, but that only operates on the brokerage account as a whole, not the individual security. What is the name of the field that I should be using to filter? As alannies states, Description can sometimes work, but only if the security symbol appears in every description (which isn't 100% of the time).

I am attaching a screen shot of the edit window. You should have the securities listed under the brokerage account they are attached to.
Which version of Moneydance are you using?

Tom, the screenshot you attached seems to be for the "Transactions" report, not the "Investment Transactions" report. Also, I am using 2011r2 (803), on OSX.
Thanks, Matt.

I can select by security on the transaction report and the transaction filter but not the investment transaction report.
I am going to query the lead developer about this to see if its a bug or intentional.
