Report of Account Details

In Moneydance, every Account has an Account Info Page, which contains all of the useful info about the account. However, this info can only be accessed one account at a time on screen, and it is not possible to show or print the full set of accounts with their details. It would be really good if we could have a simple report that documents these. This would enable, for instance, printing of my full list of accounts to be stored in a safe place for access by others (or myself) in the case of emergency. I simple filter to select the relevant accounts, with the option to include/exclude sub-accounts, would be useful.

This would be a very simple report to create.

Regards

Chris

    Hi Chris,
That sounds like it could be useful. Perhaps it could be integrated into the Account Balances report as optional information. I will create a feature request ticket for this.
Please let us know if you have any more questions.
    Sincerely,
    Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

I too would very much like this feature! I'm interested primarily in a hardcopy for emergency/estate use, but having all this info in one report would be useful on occasion.

Please add the ability to include ALL information, optionally including the OFX username/password. I shudder to think about the hassle (with the financial institutions) of reestablishing all those connections again.

I was about to request the same feature, after reading an excellent article in the wall street journal about the need for a 'death dossier' to obviate the associated record sifting nightmare for loved ones. Upon starting one, i quickly realized Moneydance has an enormous amount of info that would be useful under those circumstances, and i keep it up to date, which is a huge plus.
