Starting again

Have had all sorts of problems and want to clean out all entries and start again. Have tried deleting and putting in trash etc. but it reappears win I re enter down loaded transactions. So how can I do this? Using Apple Lion and iPad.

    To create a new blank moneydance data file run Moneydance and select File->New...
