Hi Signe,
Yes, what you are suggesting is possible. However due to the way that MS Money exports it's account data (one account at a time) it can sometimes be a process that is more than trivial.
Look to the following knowledge base article for step-by-step instructions:

Hi Signe,
You would first download the Moneydance program to your Mac. You can do so from here:
http://moneydance.com/other
You would then move your data file from the PC to the Mac by either burning it to a CD / DVD, copying it to a flash drive or emailing the file to yourself and downloading it to your Mac.
If you purchased a license key you can then enter it in the Mac installation.

Ok thanks Kevin for your help. I have to say I'm very impressed with the response I'v gotten both times I'v needed help. Also I downloaded the free copy to see if i would like it compared to money and I have to say once you get the hang of it its as good if not better than money. Again thanks for your help.

Hi Signe,
You're welcome. I too am a long time MS Money convert. I think I started using Money 97. I've been using Moneydance for about 3 years. Like yourself, I've found it to perform as well if not better than MS Money.
As I said earlier the conversion can be daunting. Just take your time and be careful to populate each account with the proper QIF file.
Feel free to post back if you need any help, I'll see what I can do. These forums are actively monitored by the MD Support Staff as well as a knowledgeable user base. I humbly include myself in the latter. :)
