I've read this help page: http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/frequently-asked-questions-2/keyboa...

But there is at least one keyboard shortcut I've discovered not documented there: t
This will change to today's date while in the date field.

There's another one that will remove all splits on a new transaction, but I can't remember what it is. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's especially helpful when the autocomplete feature basically copies a previous transaction which has splits, but the new transaction I'm entering has no splits.

    Hi rob,
Look to pg, 54 of the Moneydance User's Guide for a list of keyboard shortcuts.

There may be an easier way to do this but here's what I've done in the past. When the Split window opens, the first line item will be in Edit mode, hit ENTER so that it is no longer in Edit mode. Then use key-combo CTRL-A. This should select all of the line items, hit DELETE. CTRL-W closes the Split window.

Seems like that there should either be an easier way or perhaps the split window should not even open unless called for by the user.

    Rob,

Wow, color me embarassed- the formatting on that article was pretty ugly, and didn't display the t shortcut well. I've fixed that now. Kevin's advice is spot on for the split removal.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

Hey, what do you know, I just rediscovered the split removal shortcut by accident! If you create a new transaction that last had splits, escape out of the split window and then hit CMD+K (on Mac). This removes all splits immediately!
