Multiple currencies in investment account

I'm a new Moneydance user with an investment account at Fidelity that lets me use multiple currencies.
There are some US stocks and a US dollar cash balance.
There are also some Canadian stocks and a CAD cash balance.
I've figured out how to set up the Canadian stocks so Moneydance can check quotes on the Toronto stock exchange and report the prices in Canadian dollars, so I like how that works.

My question is if there is a way to show the Canadian dollar cash balance so I can see the number of Canadian dollars with the conversion showing what that amount is worth in USD.

What I would like to do is when I buy a Canadian stock, I use my Canadian cash to pay for it, and when I sell a Canadian stock, I show the proceeds in Canadian dollars, which are added to my existing quantity of CAD.

This might be overly complicated, and I can use a workaround, but I wanted to ask in case I'm not seeing something obvious.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't think there is a straight forward way to see hat you are looking for.

You can show the balance of the entire account in a different currency by running the Account Balances report and specifying the desired currency for the entire report in the options for that report. Is that helpful?

No, that's not at all what I asked, but thanks anyway.
