Lot Matching

I am converting fro Q2009 to MD. I am having the exact same problem with lot matching.
I sold my some shares of a stock and then bought new shares. Whenever I go to look at this stock in MD the lot matching box pops up. It asks me to match the shares sold with the available tax lots. I do that and it always comes back telling me that I have allocated an incorrect number of shares. In the interim, I can not get the correct cost basis to display for the new shares I bought.
I have set the security to lot matching and I am running Win XP

Sorry for late reply. I've been out of town. I think I have figured it out.
Since I am converting from Quicken, I am trying to balance and reconcile the
accounts and I have multiple lots I have sold. If you don't allocate all the
lots sold at the same time it will give you the error. I guess it assumes
that the lots were allocated as they were sold, which would be normal.

    Thanks
