NET WORTH REPORTS FOR PAST DATES

I would like to reopen this feature request. One of the principle reasons I have maintained accounts using Money Management Software has been to track changes in them over time.

This is a pretty fundamental feature. What plans do you have to address it?

Are there Extensions that would enable it?

Or, have I simply overlooked this option?

I am currently using Moneydance 2010 r3 (751) and like it, having abandoned Quicken when I moved from a PC to my new iMac. This is the major report writing feature I find missing.

    Hi Tad

    If you select Tools->Graphs and Reports, select the Networth report you will see an "As of" field in the options for the report. Change this date to see your networth for past dates.

    I mentioned in another thread that the reportsystem does not have the facility to report say the net worth (andor sub balances) quarterly on one page. This gives you a single page report showing trends over the quarters or the years.

    With a widescreen VDU there is a lot of blank screen with the net worth report.

    I have created a suggestion ticket and attached it to this discussion suggesting that the Networth report get a "group by" option to allow side by comparisons over time. By posting in this discussion you have voted for this ticket.

    Thank you for your response. Knowing I have an "As of" option is a big step forward.

    I too would like the ability to see changes in net worth over time. So view this as another vote for that feature.

    Is there a place where all suggestions are listed and I could cast a vote for enhancements that have already been proposed?

    We have switched over to a new feature request system. In this new system the listing of request tickets is only visible at the back end to support staff, but the tickets are "linked" to the discussion thread. Currently the best way to vote or request a feature is to post in our "Suggestions" forum either on a new or existing thread and your vote will be automatically logged.
