Can i save my moneydance file to dropbox, and then sync it with another computer so that I can access the same data from 2 computers (i.e., work and home)?

Yes (I do this myself). Just be sure not to access the file simultaneously from both computers, because the data file does not support simultaneous access.

Great! Usually dropbox won't try to sync when it's in use. One more question: Can I retrieve my bills from the quicken bill payment service that have NOT been posted to my bank account yet.

    Trs,

Are you asking if you can download those transactions into Moneydance so they show in your register? I am not entirely sure, this depends on the transactions which Quicken permits you to download into the OFX (or OFC, QFX, QFC, or QIF file). I personally use dropbox to sync my Moneydance files, and I've never had a problem with it.

I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully-functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.

For more information on how to get the most out of your trial period, check out our blog post on the subject.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance!
