switching to/from detailed reports
I'm using the "Income and Expenses" and "Detailed Income and Expenses" reports as templates. For example, I've created a report called 2008 P&L which is based on the detailed version. Is there any way to change that report into the non-detailed version without simply starting from scratch again? I have some nit-picky account inclusion rules that need to be implemented, so it would be great if I could change a report to/from the detailed version without creating another report (more work since there are a lot of these reports, and it also clutters up the sidebar). Thanks in advance for any help.

I am pretty sure there is no way to do this. Probably because each report type can have a different set of parameters, so switching the report type would be very hard to handle.

Alright, fair enough. Then I guess I need to know where the ticket is that allows me to vote for user configurable report.

Best I can find is this ticket 1294 for custom reports. You would need a trac account to vote for it, and you can also add a comment there. But be aware the ticket is 2+ years old.
