How do I print a report of upcoming bills?
I am wanting to print a report of my upcoming bills and
deposits. I used
to do this in MS Money each week to use as a planner on each
payday. In
Moneydance I can see upcoming reminders, but want these as a report
of
upcoming expenses for a specific time. Seems like printing a report
of
upcoming scheduled transactions would be something everyone would
want. I
know what I have already paid, I want a report to show what is
coming due.
I thought this was going to be added in the newer versions (ie: Ver
2010).
Have I missed something in reports or is this not possible.
Thanks,
David

I am afraid tha Mneydane does not have such a feature. As a work around you could concievably set the auto commit option on your reminder to put them into the register before they have been paid and then run a transactions report with the date set to future transactions.
There is an existing suggestion ticket in the trac system for this feature. If you register and log into trac you can vote on tickets to show your support for them. Here is the link:

I am sorry if this does not meet your needs.
Sincerely

You can also print the reminder calendar. There is a button for "print calendar" on the Reminder calendar page.

Printing the calendar shows the items due but no dollar amount. This is only useful if dollar amount due is show also. It appears that items due or payments scheduled can only be seen on the screen, not in any report. Thanks.

One other option is cash flow forecasting. It appears that you are trying to determine the answer to "how much do I have to come up with to pay these future bills?". That answer isn't easily available in MD as Ben points out.
You can, however, easily come up with the answer to this question "how much will be left after I pay these future bills?".
If you put all your future bills and deposits as reminders in (or you can also have future transactions in your register for them as well), then you can use the forecaster extension to determine the low balance points in your account (s) until the next pay period (or over several months, if your future data is that good).
If the graph shows a negative amount, you can enter additional deposits, or transfers, or change the dates of bills as you see fit to bring it back above zero. This has the advantage of "doing the math for you" if your actually trying to find out how much is left.
If you have additional interest, see post 2 of this thread:

If you have to have a printed document, it is possible to print out the graph that is created (just right click on the graph and select print).
Maybe that, coupled with the printed calendar, would give you something that you could use.
If that doesn't help, I am out of ideas...............

These are all great ideas for work-arounds. Please let me know if we can be of further assistance.

I agree with the suggestion to add a report to view the reminders. What would be most helpful to me is to see the reminder, date, amount, what account it is set to come out of and the check# field (so I can see my coding or if it is and EFT or auto debit from my debit card, transfer, etc.) Thanks.

If you click on Upcoming Items under Reminders on the home page you get a list of all reminders for the remainder of the year. Can't you just make a screen capture of which ones you want and print that?
