I have set up a credit card account which is in actuality a line of credit account. On my sidebar I see the balance of the account, but I would also like to see what the balance of the available credit is. This will keep me from having to look at my financial institution's online account to compare. Is this possible?

I would love to see this as well, but I am not aware of a place to input the credit limit in the program, which I assume is data the program would have to know.

    Jim,

With regard to adding an extra field to accommodate the credit limit, why could money dance not add the extra field in the account setup screen. As you pull money out, or pay money on the account, a formula would calculate the available credit. So on the homepage, you would have 3 fields for each credit account:

    Outstanding credit
    Available Credit
    Limit of Credit

I believe that this is pertinent info to anyone wanting a snapshot of their personal finances.

Moneydance personnel - would you please add this to the trac as an enhancement ticket unless there already is one.

    Thank you Angie.

I have now been using the trial version for a week and am learning quickly its ease of use and practical use. The home page shows me a snapshot of my total finances and I like that. With the exception a few minor details that I would like to see on the home page I am sure to be a moneydance user for a long time.
