Editing a transaction

I can no longer edit a transaction once I've entered it into my checking account register.
I have to delete the entire transaction and start over.

This happened with my old Moneydance so I just purchased the latest version and it does the same thing.

I recently upgrade our Apple program to High Sierra. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not.

    "Double-click on an existing transaction to edit it."

    This doesn't work now.

    Hi Judy,

    Try this...

    Highlight the transaction in question.
    Tap the ENTER key on your keyboard.

    Yes, it works for me also using the Return key on my Mac. Thank you. I have been going nuts trying to get this to work.
