Currency Types Keep RE-Downloading after deletion

I use 6 currency types. USD, CAD, EUR, RON, HUF, GBP

I delete the ones that I am not using so that the download of currencies is shorter and more accurate as it "times out" or "errors" frequently when there are all the currencies there.

After closing and opening the software a few times, not the first or second time, but about the third time. ALL the currencies are back and I have to delete them again.

Is this a known issue?

I am not support staff, just a user.

Not one I have heard of.

The only thing I can think of if you are syncing and the deleted data is being synced back.

If you are syncing you could try doing a sync reset, deleting unwonted currencies and start a new sync. If you need details on how to do this just post.

    Hope this helps

No, this is not "IT", this is a user board but sometimes IK folks chime in with help.
    Standard questions that would help:
    What OS are you using
What version of MD including the build number such as:
    Moneydance 2017.8 (1680)
    OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6 x86_64
    Java: 1.8.0_162 (Oracle Corporation)

In addition delete the currencies and then when they come back, for that session you first see them, open Help->Console Window and see if there is something in that list of data that would show where the extra currencies are coming from.

The list of currencies is NOT downloaded and folks that lose their list have had to rebuild it for each currency.

FOUND IT! ....... The sync note lead me down the right path. Even though
sync was OFF, it was grabbing the sync currencies from ANOTHER directory of
    an old file.

I had to create a new sync shared folder, let the sync run, the shut off
sync again and delete the shared folder and move the old file.

    It's corrected itself
