Error when downloading account transactions

I receive this error dialog when attempting to download from my bank

There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.

Bank Name: Capital One Bank (Not Credit Cards)

The error code reported by the server was: 2000

A general error has occurred.

    Hi Tom,

    Do you have "Direct Connect" enabled with Capital One? Typically this is enabled either via their web management site or via calling them and asking to have "Direct Connect" enabled for your account. Most banks don't actively support Moneydance, so asking about Direct Connect is the best route.

    If it's already enabled or this doesn't solve your problem, please let us know and we'll continue to diagnose the issue!
