mdsyncinfo.txt repeatedly updated

I use Dropbox to sync Moneydance between my laptop and my phone. I tend to keep Moneydance running on my laptop since I refer to it with some frequency. At times, but not always, Moneydance takes it into its head to update mdsyncinfo.txt once per minute, apparently updating only the like with the timestamp. That causes a notification from Dropbox that the file has changed. Every minute. It's annoying, and I wonder if there is a reason that Moneydance does this, and whether it's really necessary, since it doesn't happen all the time.

Thanks for any answers!

Henry, thanks for keeping after this (admittedly trivial) bug.

An interesting question for me is, "Why is MD actually updating that
file so often, when nothing (other than the timestamp) is actually
    changing? Is that really necessary?"

The latest preview has the added fix and can be downloaded here

    build 1659 fix description:
Suppress redundant pushes to mobile sync folder (and the resulting notifications, which alas are a bug that must be fixed on the dropbox side)

    Hi, Henry,

I grabbed the preview yesterday as soon as I got your mail, and so far,
so good. I'll let you know if that changes.

    Thanks for keeping after this!
