What has happened and how do it fix it?

Did you make sure to transfer the Moneydance.app to your Applications folder?
Have you checked to make sure that the Moneydance.app is in your Applications folder still?
You unzipped the Moneydance.zip file. Doing that produced the Moneydance.app application. You then transferred the Moneydance.app into your Applications folder. You did do all of the above sequences, correct?

Can i redo the down load I have been using the product for several months. I don't know what i did with hey pro day key and such.

How can i reinstall the software, it is not in my application folder anymore?? I have been using the software for several months.

Hi Chris,
You can re-download the program installation file from here. Just choose the right one for your particular Operating System.

To retreive your License Key, pluck your email address into the 'Lost Key' field on the right-hand side of the following webpage:
http://moneydance.com/purchase
Your existing data file will end with a .md extension. For example mymoney.md.
Perform a 'Search' of your machine for *.md (That's asterisk dot MD) The * is a wildcard and will help to find any files named with a .md extension.

There ought to be no need to re-downlaod moneydance.zip.
Just run a search for Moneydance using Spotlight.
It will show you where your Moneydance.app is located.
It will also show you where your Moneydance.zip file is located.
