I'm having trouble printing memorized reports in landscape orientation; the lines are smashed too close vertically. I found mention of this in http://help.infinitekind.com/discussions/problems/1180-openjdk-and-... (May, 2010), saying that the developers would be looking into it, but I'm still having the problem in 2012. Was the issue resolved? I'm running MoneyDance 2011r2 (803) on:

java version "1.6.0_22" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.10.4) (suse-1.2-x86_64) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode)

under openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64).

I think it was "resolved" in that you have to use Sun/Oracle Java, not OpenJDK. That's how it was in May 2010 and that's how it is now. The landscape printing thing is apparently a bug in OpenJDK, which you are using. It works fine with Sun Java.

If openSUSE doesn't provide a Sun Java package (as Ubuntu no longer does), you can get it directly from java.com.

Thanks, ljb. That did the trick.
