Hi Mace
Tag means something very particular in Moneydance. The tag is the field under the category. Banks never apply tags to transactions.
Perhaps you are referring to the category field. OFX files do not include category information. You have to apply the category manually. Moneydance will learn which categories you apply to transactions and will apply them automatically for you in the future.
Could you clarify exactly which field is being lost when you import an OFX file.
