Double cicking on a transaction to edit does not work

Ubuntu Linux 10.04, Moneydance 2008(r3) (631).

Trying to edit a transaction by double-clicking on the entry does not select it for edit. Repeated double-clicking eventually succeeds.

I have added "*multiClickTime: 400"
to the end of /etc/X11/Xresources/x11-common

This cured problems in Ubuntu 8.04.

Any ideas please?

Regards, John

Just to say, I have tried increasing from 400 to 800, and restarting Ubuntu. No change.

I don't know if you are having the same issue as discussed in this thread but you should probably read the messages there, especially my posts about x11-common not being used in Unbuntu 9 or 10.

Many thanks ljb, i followed the advice to create a file .Xresources in
my Home directory, with just a comment and the line:
        .*multiClickTime: 500 in it.
Following a restart, I can now double-click on a transaction to open it
    for editing,

    Thanks again, John
