Build 801 Speedier!

Maybe its something that just magically happened with my computer, but has anyone else noticed a definite speed increase (after upgrading MD to build 801) when either updating an account with an OFX download or when reconciling?

    Hi Jim

    Build 801 has a separate background thread that runs at a low priority and is used for recalculating the net worth. Net worth recalculation takes place every time a change is made and with large data sets this impacted the responsiveness of the user interface.

    Ah, that explains it - my file has transactions going back over a decade. The speed difference is huge. Thanks MD team!
