MD Saved Me - the story of a panicked Intuit castaway

I eagerly upgraded to Lion right after upgrading my iPhone G2 to the new 4s on January 3rd. Having full faith in Apple products, I didn't hesitate. Everything was perfect and seamless until…I went to pay bills. My Quicken 2007 for MAC was dead in the water. Intuit sent no warnings on the comparability issue even though Apple advised them 6 years ago. Their customer "support" was of no help, except to suggest I switch to Windows!!! Unconscionable!!! They make no promise of a possible solution until late spring. Are they kidding??? What do we do in the meantime…not pay bills? Not do our taxes?

I panicked! No where to turn. No solution available … UNTIL … I found MD! A quick download of the trial version, linked up to my bank 1, 2, 3…imported my register transactions and VOILA! I was back online, just like that. I've only been using MD for 4 days now but already have complete confidence in its interface. Trust me, I've put it through its paces.

I tested trial versions for all the other Lion-compatible programs out there. Every single one. Beside usability and tracking my account activity and balances (that's right…some programs don't even do that), the most important feature to me is the integrated online bill pay. Quicken (excuse the foul reference) spoiled me and I couldn't bare not having that. MD is the ONLY Lion-compatible program out there that has this feature! The only one!

Further, install and set up was so easy! It is truly well thought out and designed. I want to thank you for saving my virtual financial life! Now I can concentrate the important things like real life.

Happily and peacefully,
Linda O

    Hi Linda,
Thanks so much for the praise! My colleague emailed all the support staff a link to your message and we all appreciated the positive feedback. The nature of our job is usually to step in when things are not working, so its nice to hear about all the times it works well.
    Thanks again!
    Sincerely,
    Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

My pleasure to share the great news. So much negative in this world. I like to celebrate the positive. Especially after Intuit's unconscionable abandonment of MAC users.

It's good to find a caring, supportive company that produces a well-thought-out, quality product that does what it's supposed to do.

    Again - I thank YOU…and the MD team. :)

    Thanks,
    Linda O'Donnell
