Duplicate transactions downloaded from one credit card company

One of my credit cards (Citi Visa) downloads old transactions whenever I try to sync with it.
I have done a "reset sync" in the "setup online banking" window but the problem persists.
At present, I have to carefully go through and delete the duplicates.
My other credit cards and bank accounts sync properly.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.

    Hello,

    I apologize for the delay in our reply; somehow your message slipped by us.

    Instead of deleting these transactions, do you have the option to merge them with the existing ones in the confirmation sidebar? If you do this, it should remember the unique transaction ID for each entry, and then ignore those transactions when it encounters them in the future.

    Nice try. I really thought that would work. But none of the dupes saw their mate to offer a merge. It’s only a certain 50 or so transactions up to 8/25/17, not all.
    Any ideas?
