Please help - there seems to be no way to delete old online connections and I really want to clean this up.

    Hi Sir Stephen,

Are you referring to the items listed in the Financial Institutions drop-down list of Online Banking Sign Up form?

    Hi Sir Stephen,

The only way to remove the entries in the Financial Institutions drop-down list is to run a python script.
The script that you need to run is available on these forums but they are dependent on the specific version of Moneydance it is that you are currently using.

Please provide the version and build number of Moneydance that you are using.
To do so, from the Moneydance menu bar, go to Help > About Moneydance.
Here you can view the version and build numbers.
    e.g. Version 2017.10 (1706)

Once you've provided the version and build number, I will try to locate the appropriate script and provide instructions on how to run it.

    Hi Steve,

    Download the attached remove_one_service.py script.

Make sure to take note of where it downloads to.

Safe computing 101 dictates that you should run your anti-virus program of choice on the downloaded file.

    Open Moneydance.

From the Moneydance menu bar, go to Window > Python Scripting.

In the resulting Python Interpreter window, click the 'Open Script' button.

A file browser will open allowing you to navigate to and click on the 'remove_one_service.py' file.

Back at the Python Interpreter window, click the 'Run' button.

A small 'Select A Service to Delete' form will appear with a drop-down list of Financial Institution connections for you to choose from.

Select the desired connection and click OK.

Click 'Run' again to delete more connections.

    Kevin -

Thanks so much - this did the trick. Shame the application itself can’t manage this.

    Hi Steve,

You're welcome. I'm glad to hear that it worked as expected.

Thank you for reporting back with your results.

I agree that there should just be a button somewhere that runs the script without all the fuss.

I'm new to the 2019.1 and imported an old version. Is there a python script for this edition?
