I don't know how to connect my investment to be online with Moneydance. I want to see transactions, balances and report history.

    I'm a fellow user.

The idea behind direct connect, for those institutions that support it, is to enable transactions to be downloaded and imported into the Moneydance registers so that you can maintain financial records in the software.

It sounds like you are looking for something different can you elaborate further.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I was expected that Moneydance will
download all my bank transactions after I have already setup the account to
my bank account including user id and password, but Moneydance says that
there is no account to download!! I created an institution name, their
website, and my credentials but nothing happened, and it never access my
    bank account. Thanks!

I think I got it. Do I have to export transactions from my bank account
then imported it to Moneydance every time? I want Moneydance to download
    all of these transactions automatically.

Details on setting up Direct connect are given in the Knowledge Base article:

    http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/online-banking-and-bill-pay/direct-connect

Don't rush through the setup some screens will take a little time to come up as data is being sourced from your bank, rush it and you will likely end up with the wrong transactions in the wrong account

Dwg, thank you for your help, but my financial institution is not listed
in Moneydance, and it is not recognizing my bank. Thank you anyway for
your help and support, I think I will uninstall it from my PC. Thank you
again, and have a great weekend.

If you institution is not supported, and institutions outside of the U.S. generally do not support Direct Connect so most of us if we want to automate at all download transaction files from our Bank's Internet site and import these into Moneydance. Moneydance supports all of the major financial formats.

It is only a subset of US institutions that offer Direct Connect as well, it is by no means Universal in the U.S.

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it. In the USA it is very
easy to connect accounts, it is like you said universal. Thank you again.
