I am receiving an error when trying to load a .qfx file from Wells Fargo Bank. This just recently began happening. The error message is :
"Error reading file: java.io.IOException: Unexpected end of message while reading headers". It appears WFB has added data to the file before the header tags that is causing this error. I can strip the data out and the file loads fine.

    Hi Brian,

    There are two available solutions...

    1) Update to the latest preview build - currently MD 2017.10 (1699)

    OR..

    2) Install the free, third-party app created by forum member hleofxquotes.

This is a Wells Fargo error - although their Quicken support team deny having made any changes to the file. Sigh. . .
To correct you need to edit the qfx file and ensure each header item is on a separate line. The file currently has these header items on a single line and Moneydance is therefore unable to read them.
For me the corrected header items - after I edited the file - look like
    OFXHEADER:100
    DATA:OFXSGML
    VERSION:102
    SECURITY:NONE
    ENCODING:USASCII
    CHARSET:1252
    COMPRESSION:NONE
    OLDFILEUID:NONE
    NEWFILEUID:NONE
    an empty line
<OFX> and the rest ot the download
