Bank Connection Difficulties

It seems like financial institutions occasionally change their Direct Connect requirements and thereby inconvenience many users until MD releases a revised program that can deal with those changed requirements. Is it generally true when those changed connection requirements occur that MD users can still download an OXF or QIF file for import into their MD?

    Hi,

You're correct, in instances when a Direct Connect connection ceases to function, you can still download an OXF as you've described. This should keep your accounts up to date without too much fuss until the connections functionality has returned.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks.

I would strongly suggest that all replies to users about Direct Connect difficulties include a notation to try a file download as a temporary solution; I'm not at all sure that all users are even aware of that possibility.
