Switching between accounts/categories doesn't always work
I find that clicking on accounts or categories doesn't always display the item that I clicked on. The highlight remains on the previous item and nothing happens. This seems inconsistent. I sometimes can switch to a given acount, sometimes not. There are some categories that never seem to display. I've saved the file and restarted, etc. I see no errors in the console window. I am upgrading from 2010r3. I am running moneydance under linuxmint 9 64bit (ubuntu 10.04). Moneydance tells me my java is Sun 1.6.0_24

Hi zeke,
Are you trying to switch accounts / categories from the side bar? If so, look to this thread by forum member jbnyt:

As suggested, there may be a dead zone along the left margin of the side bar where the icons used to be.

Thanks for the response. Yes I forgot to mention I'm using the sidebar. I don't think the bug referred to in the other post applies. I'm pretty sure I've tried clicking pretty much all over, and none of my accounts/categories have short names. I'll make sure I double-check the next time I have a chance.

Well, I think you were right after all! It turns out I have a tendency to click farther to the left edge than I thought. Thanks for the tip.
