Somehow this is now resolved. I deleted my moneydance sync file and the file on dropbox. Changed my moneydance file to don't sync>closed moneydance>reopened moneydance>reactivated sync w/dropbox and was able to successfully resync with the iOS app.
The process you took reset the syncing. The initial problem you had suggests that syncing had somehow become confused - something had gone wrong and it was not able to recover. Where and what has gone wrong I doubt if anyone could say.
The action you have taken is what I believe would have been recommended to do.
Ugh! Now any transactions added either to the app/or to the main file on
my laptop are not syncing. Both the app and Dropbox are saying
synced/files up to date. However, the transactions are not syncing.
Anyone have a solution? I even tried disconnecting and reconnecting in the
app. Closing Moneydance and reopening on the laptop to force sync.
Somehow, Dropbox is not updating the only file I have in use for syncing.
