My intent is simply to update security prices in MD using prices downloaded from my broker. I realize there are other available methods to accomplish my goal; but I'd like to utilize the security prices I can download from my broker.

Could I get an overview about how to import into MD a CSV file downloaded from my broker which contains current security prices?

    Hi quotient

The Security Price Loader extension was written for this purpose (see
    https://bitbucket.org/mikerb/moneydance-2015/wiki/Security%20Price%20Load)
There is also a pdf that couples this with the HLEOFXQUOTES program
which you might also find useful, just ignore the part about
    HLEOFXQUOTES.

    Regards
    Mike

    Mike,
The Security Price Loader works very well. Thanks for making it available.

    Quotient,

FWIW this is the method I have been using since Yahoo withdrew their service, although with the older version of Mike's Utility as I still use an older version of Moneydance (the newer versions have not given me features that would compel me to upgrade).

I do have to manipulate my file slightly as for some strange reason the download includes an extra blank line at the bottom with just a carriage return
