How do you update account with unrealized gains

    You shouldn't record gains until they have been realized.

    There is an option in the cap gains reporting to show unrealized cap gains.

    If you are updating the current prices of your securities then the portfolio will be shown at its current value. You can do this manually by either going to the securities detail page for the security clicking the history button and updating the curretn price filed, or you can install the security price entry extension and manually update all your security prices from one table. You can get this extension by going to extesnion > manage extensions.

    You can install the quotes and exchange extension and automatically download quotes.
